I recently wrote a post on LinkedIn about the real me. I wanted to share this on here as a blog because when you are out in the open, shared to the world people feel they know you. But truth is they only know some of you.
So let me share with you 11 things that you did not know about me.
, I love playing on my PlayStation when I get some down time and my favourite game is Assassins Creed!
, My favourite film of all time is Sister act both 1 and 2 and I have even been to see it live in the Theatre.
, One of my life’s most defining moments has to be the day I woke up paralysed but mainly because I learnt the value of my vulnerability
, I have a hidden talent that I don’t talk about to much and that is that I used to act, dance and sing on the big stage in theatre.
, My inspiration behind what I do around working in inclusion is based on years of witnessing unfair treatment of others and I just want to see positive change
, I think my fun fact about me is that I love to make people laugh even though I am not a fan of being the centre of attention.
, My greatest Career highlight other than my recent role with Champions UK PLC has to be the day I decided to go self employed as it was the day I was able to start being myself for the very first time.
, My favourite travel place to date has to be Spain or the Cannery Islands but I did love Abu Dabi. I would however love to do more travelling.
, My early career aspirations was always to join the army which I did. But now its honestly to work in the inclusivity space so this new associate role is my dream come true.
, My greatest life lesson I have ever learnt which I learnt the hard way is that trust is not something you have to give to everyone equally. You have different levels of trust and you need to understand how these work.
, My vision for inclusion and for how I see my partnership with Champions UK PLC is to work towards creating a world where we understand the value of be inclusive. Once we start seeing the value of what inclusion actually means then we will start seeing the greatest impact of positive change.
